In 2007, I gave an industry presentation on high-deductible health plans (HDHPs). Approximately 15 people attended. The next year, I gave the presentation and there was standing room only! Now it is five years later and HDHPs are the industry rage. I have met people who attended those previous presentations and commented that the preparation steps have helped them tremendously.
